Tony Stark spends the majority of his time tinkering with his armor, until one day he emerges as his flashy alter ego, Iron Man. This ritual parallels pretty nicely with video production, which is why I love it (and Iron Man) so much. After spending countless hours on a video, it’s an amazing feeling to finally release it to the world.
For the past 10 years, I have been documenting my everyday life on camera. So when I heard that 451 Agency wanted to visually document its everyday growth, I was really excited to hop on board. Visual storytelling is my passion, and the story of 451 Agency inspires me.
If my life were a camera, I think my family and closest friends would be its body, my commitment to personal betterment would be its lens, and my side passions would be its film stock. I’m a certified user of Avid Media Composer and I’m well versed in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro. I believe my resourcefulness, warm demeanor and tireless enthusiasm for my craft have driven me to become the award-winning storyteller I am today.
My job is all about capturing the amazing culture of our office on film, and it’s easy because there are always so many cool things happening! When I’m not shooting and editing videos, I’m either learning new recipes, sharing a few drinks with friends, or crooning some jazz standards. While I was studying video post production at Emerson College, I became known in the Emerson acapella community for my super low voice. (And yes, I’m always down for a little musical collaboration!)
Some fun facts:
· I once shot a short narrative in an occupied jail cell.
· I’ve been to about 15 European cities and a village in rural Bahia, Brazil.
· My spirit animal is Michael Bublé.
As a Massachusetts native, I’m proud to call Boston my home; so being able to do what makes me happiest in the city I love the most is really outstanding.
